四年前的紐約市，蟑螂擴散的病毒造成瘟疫，差點將市內(nèi)兒童滅絕，在公立學(xué)校任教的昆蟲專家李美（艾莉絲高朗士Alix Koromzay飾）想出以毒攻毒方法：利用螞蟻及白蟻的DNA研制一種取名「猶太」的新品種蟑螂，借著「猶太」體內(nèi)的特殊分泌消滅蟑螂的體液，利用它們充當(dāng)誘餌出賣肆虐的同類，「猶太」?jié)撊塍脲邋莸臈⒌匕褞Ь胍痪W(wǎng)打垮，病毒最后亦得以控制。 破壞計劃看似空前成功，人類在四年后的今天還以為頑固的蟑螂絕跡人間，可是，并非所有「猶太」的也在預(yù)期中百多日壽命限期內(nèi)死亡，部份變種成新種類，這種超智版蟑螂能模仿人類，牠們殺害人類后，把受害者的面皮戴上，穿上大褸及利用兩條后腿走路，牠們在李美的殘破學(xué)校及黑暗的地鐵管道匿藏?！ ∨c此同時，多宗殘酷兇殺案的死者均是李美的的前男友，警方認為李美的嫌疑最大，遂派遣自以為聰穎過人的探員卡拉斯基\對李美進行調(diào)查?？ɡ够鸪跻矊蠲莱錆M懷疑，但他卻不相信身型普通的李美，有足夠力氣在殺人后撕走前男友的面皮，再把尸體掛上高架燈柱之上。史上最巨大的無敵蟑螂再度變成殺人怪物，肯定對全人類安全構(gòu)成威脅，李美只好再次迎戰(zhàn)！
